In Wednesday's non-league game, the Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) football team tipped the host Niles Vikings (Niles, MI), by a final score of 21-20.
The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Maroon Giants come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
The Vikings now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Three Rivers for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7.
