The Broughton Capitals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Wake Forest Cougars to 1 in the Capitals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Capitals now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. Broughton will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 4-2.
The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Pride enter the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Leesville Road held off Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
