In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Burns Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Crest Chargers.
The Bulldogs (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, North Gaston nudged West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record.
