The South Knox Spartans soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats to 2 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Spartans face the Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN) in a Blue Chip contest, on Thursday, September 7. South Knox will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.

The Wildcats now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage Hills for a Pocket contest on Saturday, September 2. Mt. Vernon will face a Patriots team coming off a 1-0 league win over Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
