With the win, Emery upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to College Prep (Oakland, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-1. College Prep lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against The Bay School (San Francisco, CA)

The Vikings now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to College Prep for a Bay Counties - East bout on Friday, September 1.
