The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN) and the visiting Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), saw Carmel's volleyball squad beat Lawrence Central by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Carmel upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Greyhounds host New Castle (New Castle, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-1. New Castle won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Richmond (Richmond, IN)
The Bears now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Central for a Metropolitan bout on Thursday, September 7.
