The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) and the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC), saw DC International's volleyball squad beat Roosevelt by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, DC International upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Dragons host Washington International (Washington, DC) to play the Red Devils in a PVAC bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Roughriders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Roosevelt will play a Lions squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
