The Escalante Lobos held off the host Pecos Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lobos now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tohatchi for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Escalante will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Dulce was nudged by Aztec (Aztec, NM), 3-0, in a non-league test.
