The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI) and the visiting St. Joseph Cardinals (Hilo, HI), saw Hawaii Prep's volleyball squad beat St. Joseph by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hawaii Prep upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Ka Makani travel to Parker (Kamuela, HI) to play the Bulls in a Big Island I bout on Thursday, September 7. The Bulls go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Parker won 3-0 in their recent league bout against St. Joseph (Hilo, HI)

The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Parker for a Big Island I bout on Tuesday, September 5. St. Joseph will play a Bulls squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Christian Liberty Academy (Kea'au, HI). The Bulls record now stands at 1-0.
