North Carolina High School Football - Wilkes Central overwhelmed by Alexander Central

In Friday's non-league game, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) football team triumphed over the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), by a tally of 54-14.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 6. Alexander Central will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 32-25 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC).
