North Carolina High School Football - East Carteret crushed by Ashley

August 30, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28412

The Ashley Screaming Eagle walloped the visiting East Carteret Mariners football team by a score of 48-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Screaming Eagle play the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Ashley will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.

The Mariners (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Croatan bounced Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC), 42-0, in a non-league challenge.
