Nebraska High School Football - Bayard nudges Morrill

In Friday's non-league match, the host Bayard Tigers football squad scored a close 38-32 victory over the Morrill Lions.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Kimball (Kimball, NE). The Longhorns enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Kimball was nudged by Hyannis (Hyannis, NE), 30-12, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Lions confront the Brady Eagles (Brady, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Morrill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 68-0 non-league loss to Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE).
