In Friday's league match, the visiting Beresford Watchdogs football squad scored a good 34-12 triumph over the Parker Pheasants.
The Watchdogs (2-0) will now prepare for their match against McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD). The Fighting Cougars come into the Big East match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, McCook Central/Montrose defeated Webster (Webster, SD), 20-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Pheasants confront the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) in a Big East match, on Friday, September 6. Parker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Fliers come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 42-12 league win over Baltic (Baltic, SD).
