Pennsylvania High School Football - Seton LaSalle nudges Bishop Canevin

In Friday's non-league match, the host Seton LaSalle Rebels football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Bishop Canevin Crusaders.

The Rebels (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers enter the WPIAL AA Allegheny match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart was nudged by Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA), 41-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Crusaders confront the Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Bishop Canevin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Ironmen enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 28-8 non-league win over Washington (Washington, PA).
