In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Regis Ramblers football squad scored a decisive 54-16 victory over the Bloomer Blackhawks.
The Ramblers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI). The Mounders enter the Cloverbelt match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Elk Mound was routed by St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI), 24-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Blackhawks confront the Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI) in a Heart O'North match, on Friday, September 6. Bloomer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Beavers enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 40-8 non-league loss to Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI).
