The Stanley Blue Jays were victorious over the visiting Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] Bulldogs football team by a score of 50-22 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Jays face the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, September 13. Stanley will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Beulah (Beulah, ND). The Goldiggers enter the A Region 4 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Beulah lost by Carrington (Carrington, ND), 32-18, in a non-league challenge.
