In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Turtle Lake Lakers (Turtle Lake, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix challenge, on Friday, September 6. Boyceville will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Lakers go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 27-7 non-league loss to Barron (Barron, WI).

The Comets (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Lumberjacks go into the Lakeland challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Ladysmith bounced Cumberland (Cumberland, WI), 40-8, in a non-league challenge.
