The Brilliant Tigers football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Shoals Christian Flame to 6 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lynn for a 1A Region 5 test on Friday, September 6. Brilliant will meet a Bears squad coming off a 33-13 non-league loss to Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Shoals Christian drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Flame travel to Addison (Addison, AL) to meet the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 7 test on Friday, September 6. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-1. Addison won 36-20 in their recent non-league test against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL)
