Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Brownfield Cubs (Brownfield, TX), 63-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Muleshoe advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mules host Lamesa (Lamesa, TX) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Tornadoes go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Lamesa lost 55-27 in their recent non-league battle against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX)

The Cubs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Slaton for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Brownfield will play a Tigers team coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Friona (Friona, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
