Arizona High School Football - Vista Grande sneaks past Coconino

August 30, 2024: Casa Grande, AZ 85122

The Vista Grande Spartans football squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Coconino Panthers to 7 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pueblo for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Vista Grande will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Nogales (Nogales, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Coconino drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Payson (Payson, AZ) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 2-0.
