In Friday's non-league game, the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) football team triumphed over the host Columbiana Clippers (Columbiana, OH), by a tally of 35-3.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Clearview Clippers (Lorain, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 6. McDonald will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Clippers enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 40-12 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, OH).
