Utah High School Football - Mountain View smashes Cottonwood

August 30, 2024: Salt Lake City, UT 84121

The Mountain View Bruins (Orem, UT) football trounced the host Cottonwood Colts (Salt Lake City, UT), 41-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bruins now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Payson for a 4A Region 8 outing on Friday, September 6. Mountain View will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 36-7 non-league loss to Richfield (Richfield, UT). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Cottonwood drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT) to clash with the Stallions in a 4A Region 10 outing on Friday, September 6. The Stallions come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Stansbury lost 28-20 in their recent non-league outing against Ridgeline (Millville, UT)
