In Friday's non-league match, the host Deerfield Demons football squad scored a close 14-12 triumph over the Johnson Creek Bluejays.
The Demons (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Markesan (Markesan, WI). The Hornets come into the Eastern Suburban match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Markesan was nudged by Laconia (Rosendale, WI), 20-8, in a non-league match.
