California High School Football - Westwood holds off Diamond Bar

The Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ) football tipped the host Diamond Bar Brahmas (Diamond Bar, CA), 14-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Skyline for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Westwood will clash with a Coyotes squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Diamond Bar drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Brahmas host Brea Olinda (Brea, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Brea Olinda won 63-12 in their recent non-league outing against California (Whittier, CA)
