South Carolina High School Football - Union County crushed by Fairfield Central

Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 52-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Fairfield Central improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Griffins host C.A. Johnson (Columbia, SC) to play the Hornets in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 0-2. C.A. Johnson lost 34-14 in their recent non-league battle against Branchville (Branchville, SC)

The Yellowjackets now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host York for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Union County will play a Cougars team coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
