The Flint River Academy Wildcats (Woodbury, GA) football felled the host Skipstone Academy Warriors (Griffin, GA), 27-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AA/A District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 6. Flint River Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Lancers go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 24-20 non-league win over St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA).

The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Dominion Christian (Marietta, GA). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Dominion Christian toppled Walker (Marietta, GA), 29-14, in a non-league challenge.
