Georgia High School Football - Pickens can't hold off Gilmer

Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), 35-34 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Gilmer advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Westminster (Atlanta, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-2.

The Dragons now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host White County for a AAA Region 6 battle on Friday, September 13.
