Ohio High School Football - Northwestern wallops Greenon

August 30, 2024: Springfield, OH 45502

The Northwestern Warriors football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Greenon Knights to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Miami East for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Northwestern will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Greenon drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH) to meet the Indians in a Ohio Heritage test on Friday, September 6. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-1. Mechanicsburg won 34-7 in their recent non-league test against Graham Local (St. Paris, OH)
