Ohio High School Football - Hopewell-Loudon over Pleasant

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) and the host Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH), witnessed Hopewell-Loudon's football squad knock off Pleasant by a tally of 36-15.

The Chieftains (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, OH). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Danville gained a win over Utica (Utica, OH), 24-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Whitehall-Yearling Rams (Whitehall, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 37-12 non-league loss to Northland (Columbus, OH).
