Texas High School Football - Mildred over Iola

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) and the host Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX), witnessed Mildred's football squad knock off Iola by a tally of 26-0.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Rice gained a win over A Plus Academy (Dallas, TX), 57-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs battle the Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Iola will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
