Kemper Academy Rams (DeKalb, MS) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Marvell Academy Eagles (Marvell, AR), 18-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Kemper Academy advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rams host Hebron Christian (Pheba, MS) to play the Eagles in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 1 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 6. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Hebron Christian won 68-6 in their recent non-league battle against Northeast Baptist (West Monroe, LA)

The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Delta Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Marvell Academy will play a Raiders team coming off a 30-6 non-league win over North Sunflower Academy (Drew, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
