The Kinnelon Colts football squad scored 32 points and limited the visiting Lenape Valley Patriots to 13 in the Colts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Colts now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Verona for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Kinnelon will meet a Hillbillies squad coming off a 39-6 non-league win over Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ). The Hillbillies record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Lenape Valley drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ) to meet the Cougars in a Super - American Blue test on Friday, September 6. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-0.
