The St. John's Bluejays football team (Delphos, OH), was tipped 14-13 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH)

With the win, Lima Central Catholic advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Carey (Carey, OH) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Bluejays now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Versailles for a Midwest bout on Friday, September 6. St. John's will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
