The McKenzie Tigers were victorious over the visiting Prattville Christian Academy Panthers football team by a score of 36-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Elba Tigers (Elba, AL) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, September 6. McKenzie will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 49-22 non-league loss to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL).
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery, AL). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region 2 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Trinity Presbyterian fell by Reeltown (Notasulga, AL), 20-3, in a non-league challenge.
