The McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) football knocked off the host Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS), 41-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Puckett for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. McLaurin will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 37-0 non-league win over Mount Olive (Mount Olive, MS). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Salem drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6.
