The Mondovi Buffaloes felled the visiting Osceola Chieftains football team by a score of 46-28 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Buffaloes face the Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Mondovi will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Winhawks go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-28 non-league win over Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN).
The Chieftains (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Somerset (Somerset, WI). The Spartans go into the Middle Border challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Somerset lost by Northwestern (Maple, WI), 36-28, in a non-league challenge.
