The Morton Ranch Mavericks football team (Katy, TX), dropped 34-14 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX)

With the win, Nimitz advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX) to encounter the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Cypress Ridge won 17-16 in their recent non-league bout against MacArthur (Houston, TX)
