The Ridge View Blazers football team (Columbia, SC), dropped 45-27 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC)

With the win, Northwestern advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans host South Florence (Florence, SC) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, September 6. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-1. South Florence lost 45-20 in their recent non-league bout against Summerville (Summerville, SC)

The Blazers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Dutch Fork for a non-league bout on Friday, September 6. Ridge View will clash with a Silver Foxes squad coming off a 24-7 non-league win over Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Silver Foxes record now stands at 1-0.
