The Poynette Pumas football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Wautoma Hornets to 7 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pumas now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cambridge for a Eastern Suburban test on Friday, September 6. Poynette will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 35-30 non-league win over Cambria-Friesland (Cambria, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-0.
