In Friday's non-league match, the host Wisconsin Dells Chiefs football squad scored a close 33-26 triumph over the River Valley Blackhawks.

The Chiefs (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Waupun (Waupun, WI). The Warriors come into the South Central match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Waupun tipped New Holstein (New Holstein, WI), 22-13, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Blackhawks confront the Dodgeville Dodgers (Dodgeville, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin match, on Friday, September 6. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Dodgers come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 38-8 non-league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI).
