In Friday's non-league game, the Wichita Christian Stars (Wichita Falls, TX) football team triumphed over the host San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots (Amarillo, TX), by a tally of 62-13.

In their next game, the Stars battle the Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 6. Wichita Christian will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Longhorns enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 54-19 non-league win over Savoy (Savoy, TX).
