The Spearfish Spartans felled the visiting Tea Titans football team by a score of 39-29 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Spearfish will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cobblers go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 21-19 league loss to Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD).
The Titans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Golden Eagles go into the Eastern South Dakota challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Aberdeen Central was dropped by Riggs (Pierre, SD), 20-14, in a league challenge.
