The William Allen Canaries football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Thomas A. Edison Owls to 8 in the Canaries non-league triumph on Friday.

The Canaries now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Stroudsburg North for a Eastern Pennsylvania - North test on Friday, September 6. William Allen will meet a Timberwolves squad coming off a 36-14 non-league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Thomas A. Edison drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Owls host Samuel Fels (Philadelphia, PA) to meet the Panthers in a Philadelphia Public - Liberty test on Friday, September 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Samuel Fels lost 28-7 in their recent non-league test against Frankford (Philadelphia, PA)
