Nevada High School Football - West Wendover defeats White Pine

August 30, 2024: West Wendover, NV 89883

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) and the visiting White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV), witnessed West Wendover's football squad topple White Pine by a count of 33-8.

The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons enter the 2A Northern contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was outscored by Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 56-28, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the GV Christian Guardians (Henderson, NV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. White Pine will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Guardians enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 36-0 non-league loss to Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV).
