California High School Football - Williams sneaks past Willows

August 30, 2024: Williams, CA 95987

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Williams Yellowjackets football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Willows Honkers.

The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Mt. Shasta got by Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA), 18-16, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Honkers battle the Hamilton Braves (Hamilton City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Willows will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 35-22 non-league loss to Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA).
