Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL), 55-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Providence Catholic improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Celtics travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Falcons now have a 0-1 record.
