With the triumph, Lyons advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Wildcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waubonsie Valley for a non-league test on Friday, September 13.
