The Cedar Valley Aviators soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Granger Lancers to 0 in the Aviators non-league victory on Friday.
The Aviators now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Timpview for a 5A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, September 3. Cedar Valley will play a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Granger moves to 2-6 on the year. The Lancers travel to Jordan (Sandy, UT) to play the Beetdiggers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 3. The Beetdiggers go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Jordan won 5-2 in their recent league bout against Tooele (Tooele, UT)
