California High School Football - Avenal defeated by Strathmore

The Strathmore Spartans were victorious over the host Avenal Buccaneers football team by a score of 20-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Strathmore will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

The Buccaneers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverdale (Riverdale, CA). The Cowboys go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Riverdale was dropped by Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA), 28-0, in a non-league battle.
