The Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) football trounced the visiting Castlemont Knights (Oakland, CA), 46-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mariners face the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Moreau Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Pride enter the challenge with a 0-0 record after their 14-14 non-league Piedmont (Piedmont, CA).
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
